Cependant, les aquif\u00e8res naturels pr\u00e9sentent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9s et des anisotropies importantes, que ce soit dans les d\u00e9p\u00f4ts meubles ou le roc fractur\u00e9. Ces h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9s influencent directement l\u2019estimation de param\u00e8tres essentiels tels que la conductivit\u00e9 hydraulique et la transmissivit\u00e9, des param\u00e8tres qui contr\u00f4lent la d\u00e9limitation des aires de protection. Donc une mauvaise d\u00e9termination des aires de protection cause des enjeux majeurs, tel que des risques sur la sant\u00e9 publique et des pertes \u00e9conomique si les aires de protection sont sous ou sur-dimensionn\u00e9es.
