Informations de la recherche : His research focuses on applying the Material Point Method (MPM) to analyze slope stability in sensitive clays. Traditional numerical methods struggle to capture the large deformations and progressive failure mechanisms inherent to these soils. The MPM, a hybrid Eulerian-Lagrangian method, is well-suited for handling these challenges by efficiently modeling large deformations and material flow. This study aims to develop an advanced MPM framework to simulate slope failures more accurately, integrating constitutive models tailored for sensitive clays. The results will provide better risk assessment tools for geotechnical engineers, improving the design of infrastructure in landslide-prone areas.
